Who wouldve considered that a film regarding enormous, transforming machines based on an animated program from the way back eightees would be one of the highest grossing movies unprecedented?

Thats exactly what occurred with Michael Bays 2006 blockbuster version of the Transformers, featuring Optimus Prime and the heroic Autobots versus Megatron and the wicked Decepticons for control of the transcendent All Spark, the maker of all sentient mechanized life. Their combat waged all through centuries, in the unfathomable recesses of the creation, and to our world.

The flick solidified the status of Shia LaBeouf who portrayed Sam Witwicky as a bankable A-list actor and propelled Megan Fox who portrayed Sams love pursuit into super recognition.

It turns up as no surprise that the follow-up to the flick, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, is one of the most anticipated flicks of 2009.

Scheduled for June 26, 2009 issue, Revenge of the Fallen will tell the continuing story of the Autobots on Earth, but will at the same time be more large-scale compared to the original. Gossips continue, still, that the Earth wont be the only battlefield in Transformers 2. The Fallen, in the end, pertains to one of the first 13 Transformers made by the robot god Primus who betrayed his creator by backing Primus wicked brother, the planet-devouring, global -sized, and planet-changing Unicron. This informs us that Transformers 2 wont just be global in scale, it will be intergalactic too.

The scenario and the personalities are covered in mystery, though leaked
photos of shoots show the following probabilities:

- Construction vehicles tinted with grimy green which may point to the Constructicons 7 Decepticon robots that transform into construction trucks and combine to develop the grand Devastator.

- Unexploited notion art of an Autobot named Long Haul is alleged to have been dug up for this follow-up.

- Arcee, a woman Autobot who transforms into a motorbike and who was assumed to be a part of the faction in the first flick is certain to be included in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

- Hasbros recent Licensing Summit displayed several novel models planned for the issuance of Transformers 2, which reveal new characters which may portray some characters in the flick. Among them are a tiger-resembling automaton named Ravage, which would appear to be a sign of the involvement of his boss and Megatrons loyal right hand man, Soundwave. Talking about Megatron, the new toys would show that he will be given a new alt mode: a tank. At the same time, a Chevrolet Corvette will turn into the cartoon favorite, Sideswipe.
